Julian is a teacher of movement and mindfulness and a facilitator of play. He has dedicated his life to studying movement and mindfulness. In the first half of his life, he pursued a professional career in athletics while getting a bachelor’s degree in Public Health. But in his early 20s, he had a life altering experience that shifted his approach to exercise and movement to view health and fitness from a more holistic lens that encapsulates the mind, body, and spirit. From this point he started investigating the overlap between movement and mindfulness by unitizing meditation techniques from Vipassana within various movement modalities. These movement modalities include, capoeira, hand balancing, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, dance, kick boxing as well as primal movement and forms of gymnastics.
