Strength (HIIT/Circuit) Instructor
The OAC Group Fitness Department is looking for an experienced Strength Instructor to lead high-energy HIIT and circuit-style classes. If you have a passion for strength training, love motivating others, and thrive in a dynamic group setting, we’d love to hear from you.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead engaging and effective strength-focused HIIT and circuit classes.
- Plan and deliver safe, well-structured workouts with modifications for all fitness levels.
- Coach participants on proper form, technique, and injury prevention.
- Create an energizing, positive atmosphere that keeps members motivated.
- Build strong connections with members to foster a supportive fitness community.
What We’re Looking For:
- At least one year of experience teaching strength-based group fitness.
- Group Fitness Certification (required).
- Strong ability to coach, motivate, and adapt to different fitness levels.
- Outgoing, vibrant personality with a passion for helping others succeed.
- Current CPR/AED certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Availability to teach weekdays between 4 PM – 7 PM.

Barre Instructor
The OAC Group Fitness Department is looking for a Barre Instructor to join our team
· Must have at least one year of experience teaching Barre group fitness classes and have either a group fitness certification and/or a certification in Barre
· Strong ability to coach, motivate, and lead participants in an energizing group setting
· Plan and execute safe workouts for our members
· Must be able to provide modifications and modify intensity for all fitness levels
· Ensure safety of participants regarding proper form and exercise technique
· Ability to create a high-energy, and positive environment
· Must be friendly, vibrant, and outgoing to connect with members and create a strong community
· Must possess and maintain current CPR/AED certification
· Compensation ranging from $40.00 to $50.00 per class
· Gym membership while teaching a permanent class on our schedule
· Be available to teach weekdays 4pm-7pm
Group Fitness Instructor
The OAC Group Fitness Department is looking for qualified instructors to teach multiple class formats – HIIT, Bootcamp, circuit training, Les Mills BodyPump and Les Mills CORE, Yoga Sculpt, Cycle, Mat Pilates and Barre.
· Must have at least one year of experience teaching group fitness classes (preferred) and have either a group fitness certification or a relevant specialized certification in what you teach
· Strong ability to coach, motivate, and lead participants in an energizing group setting
· Plan and execute safe workouts for our members
· Must be able to provide modifications and modify intensity for all fitness levels
· Ensure safety of participants regarding proper form and exercise technique
· Ability to create a high-energy, and positive environment
· Must be friendly, vibrant, and outgoing to connect with members and create a strong community
· Must possess and maintain current CPR/AED certification
· Competitive compensation ranging from $35.00 to $50.00 per class
· Gym membership while teaching a permanent class on our schedule
· Be available to teach weekdays 4pm-7pm
Personal Trainer
Located in the lively heart of Ballard surrounded by restaurants and shops, Olympic Athletic Club is Seattle’s premiere fitness facility. OAC holds a standard of the highest professionalism and customer service for our members. We pride ourselves on having a fun, friendly, and supportive work environment for our employees.
At OAC we keep just the right amount of Personal Trainers on staff so that all of our employees have full schedules, and we have clients ready to train now.

Personal Trainer Qualifications:
- Current nationally recognized personal training certification
- Current CPR and first aid certification
- 1 year experience personal training in an athletic club or gym (Degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Nutrition a plus but not required)
Responsibilities:
- Conduct fitness consultations including helping clients establish goals, documenting injuries and/or limitations and facilitating body composition tests (InBody 370)
- Program safe and effective custom workouts
- Teach clients how to perform exercises correctly and guide them to success
- Make each session the best hour of the client’s day
- Maintain and keep organized all equipment used during session
- Communicate with leads and clients via email regarding scheduling
- Maintain schedule on MINDBODY and submit payroll reports on-time
- May be required to perform other duties as needed
